Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree on granting special scholarships to young talents, APA reports. The decree allocates 98,794 manats from the President’s Reserve Fund in Azerbaijan’s 2025 state budget to the Ministry of Culture. The funds will be used to grant scholarships to young individuals whose names are listed in the ‘Golden Book.’

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry of Finance is tasked with ensuring the allocation of the funds, while the Ministry of Culture will handle all related matters to facilitate the scholarships. The directive highlights the government’s commitment to nurturing young talent in the country.

The decree takes effect from the date of signing, marking a significant step in Azerbaijan’s efforts to support and encourage the development of its young talents.
