Azerbaijani Prosecutor General Visits Vietnam for Official Meetings


Hanoi: A delegation led by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan conducted a working visit to Hanoi at the invitation of Vietnam’s Prosecutor General Nguyen Tien, the Press Service of the Prosecutor General’s Office told APA. The visit was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Vietnam.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during the visit, the delegation paid homage to the bust of National Leader Heydar Aliyev located at Azerbaijan’s embassy in Hanoi. This gesture underscored the historical ties and mutual respect shared between the two nations.



On March 24, within the framework of the visit, the delegation was received by Luong Cuong, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The Azerbaijani Prosecutor General took the opportunity to convey President Ilham Aliyev’s greetings to the General Secretary of Vietnam’s Communist Party and the country’s president, highlighting the importance of diplomatic communication at the highest levels.



President Luong Cuong expressed his gratitude for the greetings from Azerbaijan’s head of state and requested that his own greetings be conveyed back to President Ilham Aliyev. This exchange further cemented the goodwill and cooperative spirit between Azerbaijan and Vietnam.
