Baku: In the first half of 2025, Azerbaijan utilized 38.8 percent of the annual allocated funds, amounting to 1,552.4 million manats, for the reconstruction and restoration of the liberated territories.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, these funds were used based on cash order documents submitted by contracting organizations for various projects. Of the total amount, 1,353.6 million AZN was directed towards infrastructure projects. This included 1,058.2 million AZN for the design, construction, and reconstruction of highway infrastructure, 239.5 million AZN for the design and construction of new residential complexes, 33.7 million AZN for the preparation of design and estimate documents for the construction of main water lines, waste and rain collectors and facilities, 20.5 million AZN for the organization of Industrial Parks and infrastructure creation within their territory, and 1.7 million AZN for the provision of external electricity to settlements in the liberated territories.
Moreover, 182.0 million AZN of the funds were allocated to social projects focused on education, healthcare, culture, and sports. Additionally, 16.8 million AZN was spent on demining activities, ensuring the safety and accessibility of these areas.
