Azerbaijan Allocates Over AZN 44 Million for Water Infrastructure in Karabakh

Baku: Azerbaijan has allocated more than AZN 44 million for the construction of water management infrastructure in the liberated territories of Karabakh during the first nine months of the current year. This information was disclosed by the Ministry of Finance to APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, a total of 44.3 million manat from the state budget was used to lay down water pipelines, collectors, and other facilities in these regions. This expenditure is part of the larger reconstruction and restoration efforts being undertaken in the liberated territories.

The report also highlights that, in total, the state budget allocated 2 billion 567.5 million manat for the reconstruction and restoration of these areas over the same period, demonstrating the significant commitment of resources towards rebuilding efforts. The focus on water management infrastructure underscores the importance of restoring essential services in the region.
