Baku: Weekly information on demining operations conducted in territories liberated from occupation has been released by the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA), as reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, ANAMA detected 132 mines and 426 unexploded ordnance (UXO) during the operations carried out from September 7 to September 13, 2026. The discoveries included 113 anti-personnel mines and 19 anti-tank mines in the liberated territories.

It was further reported that a total of 1,348.9 hectares of land were successfully cleared of mines and UXOs, contributing to the safety and security of the region's residents and aiding in the rehabilitation of these areas.
