Azerbaijan and Armenia Convene for Peace Process Dialogue in Istanbul

Istanbul: Today, within the framework of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s 23rd Autumn Session, a bilateral meeting took place between the parliamentary delegations of Azerbaijan and Armenia, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told APA. The meeting was held based on an agreement reached during discussions between the speakers of the Azerbaijani and Armenian parliaments on October 21, 2025, in Geneva.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting highlighted the positive role of the Washington Summit. Delegates exchanged views on the agreements reached and explored the next steps to strengthen peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia. The significance of support from both countries’ parliaments for this peace process was underscored.

The conversation also addressed the role of parliaments in implementing confidence-building measures between the two countries. In addition, the importance of maintaining constructive dialogue among members of parliament within international organizations was emphasized.
