Azerbaijan and Beijing University of Chemical Technology Strengthen Research Cooperation

Baku: Emin Amrullayev, Azerbaijan's Minister of Science and Education, recently met with Tan Tianwei, President of Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), to discuss enhancing research collaboration and advancing higher education initiatives. The meeting underscored the commitment of both parties to further develop science and education through joint scientific research endeavors.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions included the implementation of dual diploma programs in six specialties between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Both sides expressed interest in expanding these collaborative efforts to encompass new specialties and academic fields, thereby broadening the scope of their educational partnerships.

The establishment of the BUCT-BEU engineering faculty at Baku Engineering University was highlighted as a significant step forward in strengthening educational ties between Azerbaijan and China. This development is seen as crucial for fostering deeper educational relations and collaboration between the two nations.
