Azerbaijan and Belarus Forge Partnership in Statistical Cooperation

Minsk: Azerbaijan and Belarus have taken a significant step toward enhancing their bilateral relations with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on statistical cooperation. The agreement was formalized during the 16th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Belarus Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation held in Minsk.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the MoU was signed by Azer Mursagulov, Chairman of the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Inna Medvedeva, Chairperson of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus. This pact is focused on strengthening the collaboration between the statistical agencies of both nations, aiming to facilitate better data sharing and methodological alignment.

The agreement is expected to pave the way for enhanced statistical cooperation, benefiting both countries through improved data accuracy and sharing of best practices in the field of statistics.
