Azerbaijan and Belarus Strengthen Ties in Gender Equality Initiatives

Baku: An online meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus on promoting gender equality and protecting women's rights was held at Azerbaijan's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. Rashad Mustafayev, Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, underlined that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus continue to develop on the basis of friendly ties. He emphasized that cooperation in the fields of labor, employment, and social protection is also expanding in accordance with signed agreements.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Rashad Mustafayev highlighted the successive reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in recent years in labor, employment, and social protection, the progress made in ensuring gender equality, and the positive experience gained in this area. Yulia Berdnikova, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus, hailed the successful continuation of bilateral cooperation in the social sector between the two countries.
