Baku: President Ilham Aliyev has signed a Decree on determining the minimum monthly salaries for administrative and auxiliary positions of the civil service, the percentages of increases by positions, levels and steps in terms of salary levels, and the amounts of monthly salaries, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Decree sets the minimum monthly salary for civil servants serving in state bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan at 1,170 manats for administrative positions and 760 manats for auxiliary positions. The Decree also approved the levels of salary for these positions, as well as the percentages of increases by levels and steps of civil servants, and the amounts of monthly salaries by each level and step.
The head of state additionally signed a Decree to determine new salaries for senior officials of certain state bodies and address some related issues. This includes increasing the salaries of executives of some state bodies, with the monthly salaries of the heads of these bodies and their deputies being determined under the fifth pay scale, except for cases specified by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
