Baku: Azerbaijan and bp have strengthened their collaboration with the signing of two Memorandums of Understanding during a two-day working visit by bp's Chief Executive Officer Meg O'Neill and Executive Vice President for Production and Operations Gordon Birrell. Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov joined the meeting to witness the formalization of these agreements.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the first memorandum focuses on cooperation between the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and bp. This agreement pertains to the high-performance computing infrastructure currently being developed under the ministry's leadership, aiming to enhance technological capabilities.
The second memorandum was signed between SOCAR, Azerbaijan's state oil company, and bp. This agreement is directed at promoting, strengthening, and expanding their long-term cooperation in the energy sector, signaling a continued commitment to mutual growth and development in the industry.
