Baku:Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia Hun Manet during his official visit to Azerbaijan on October 14.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting underscored the importance of Hun Manet's visit in enhancing bilateral relations. The discussions highlighted that the visit is expected to open new avenues to strengthen the friendship between the two nations.

Both leaders emphasized the significance of the Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) taking place in Baku. They also noted the successful political dialogue and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Cambodia, stressing their collaboration on multilateral platforms and the growth of interparliamentary and inter-party connections.

Additionally, the prime ministers explored expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation. They discussed potential joint initiatives in various sectors, including energy, transport and logistics, demining, public services, education, and tourism.
