New York:Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Sylvie Bapo-Temon, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Central African Republic, during the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations. Bayramov emphasized the strategic importance Azerbaijan places on strengthening ties with African countries and explored opportunities for cooperation in various sectors, including politics, economy, culture, education, and science.

The discussion also included potential collaboration within international organizations such as the UN and the African Union. Bayramov highlighted that students from the Central African Republic have participated in educational scholarship programs offered by Azerbaijan, aimed at citizens of member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement.
