Baku:Anama: Since the end of the Patriotic War, 440 citizens have fallen victim to landmine incidents.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Azerbaijan's Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) reported that from November 10, 2020, to September 23, 2026, there have been 275 recorded landmine incidents in the country.

During this period, 440 people have suffered from these incidents, with 73 fatalities and 367 individuals sustaining injuries of varying severity. ANAMA emphasized that the threat posed by landmines extends beyond individuals, impacting entire communities and future generations.
