Baku:China and Azerbaijan are enhancing their cooperation on various solar and wind energy projects, as stated by Lu Mei, the Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan. She made these remarks during a reception in Baku celebrating the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the ambassador highlighted the significant role of the green transition in China's modernization efforts.

Lu Mei emphasized China's leadership in the global green transition, noting that the country has developed the world's largest green energy industry chain. This has enabled many nations to access affordable and environmentally friendly energy solutions.

She also mentioned her experience of participating in the inauguration of the Gobustan Solar Power Plant alongside Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, underscoring the ongoing collaboration between the two nations in the renewable energy sector.
