Sichuan: A delegation led by Academician Isa Habibbayli, President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), visited China to attend the China International Talent Exchange Conference. As part of the visit, the ANAS President met with Lv Xinbin, President of the Hebei Academy of Social Sciences, in Sichuan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Lv Xinbin praised the growing bilateral relations across various fields, attributing this progress to the attention and support of the leaders of both countries. He noted that Azerbaijan was among the first countries to support China's Belt and Road Initiative. Highlighting the steady development of bilateral scientific cooperation in recent years, Lv Xinbin said that collaboration between ANAS and the Hebei Academy of Social Sciences has been expanding across various fields of research in line with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two institutions in 2024.

In turn, Academician Isa Habibbayli emphasized that Azerbaijan and China enjoy excellent relations in all areas, including science, thanks to the political commitment of their leaders. He also highlighted the existing scientific cooperation between the two institutions and briefed his Chinese counterpart on upcoming joint projects.
