Baku:Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov, met with a Chinese delegation led by Zhao Yongli, Chairman of China Datang Overseas Investment Co., Ltd., during the Caspian-Black Sea-Europe Green Energy Corridor Forum in Baku.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting focused on the progress of a 100 MW solar power plant project in Azerbaijan and explored the potential for developing a 200 MW offshore wind power plant as an initial phase.

The discussions emphasized the potential expansion of renewable energy production and export in Azerbaijan through the Green Energy Corridor. The Chinese company expressed its willingness to advance solar and offshore wind energy projects and explore participation opportunities in the Green Energy Corridor.

The meeting also addressed ongoing cooperation in personnel training and technical experience exchange within the energy sector.
