Azerbaijan and Digital Cooperation Organization Explore Collaborative Opportunities

Baku:Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization Deemah AlYahya to discuss collaborative efforts in digital transformation and international cooperation.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the meeting emphasized the significance of Azerbaijan's membership in the Digital Cooperation Organization, aligning with the country's digital transformation goals. This membership aims to foster international partnerships in the digital sphere.

Digital transformation is a key focus of Azerbaijan's state policy, with President Ilham Aliyev leading systematic efforts to advance this agenda. Initiatives have been underway to enhance digital infrastructure, public service digitalization, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the innovation ecosystem.

The meeting also explored future cooperation prospects between Azerbaijan and the Digital Cooperation Organization. The discussions highlighted the value of exchanging experiences and launching joint initiatives across multiple sectors. Azerbaijani Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev was also present at this meeting.
