Azerbaijan and France Seek to Strengthen Economic Ties

Paris: Members of the French Club of Western Business Leaders and Managers recently convened with Leyla Abdullayeva, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to France, at the Cultural Center of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Paris. The meeting was orchestrated at the behest of 23 major groups from Nantes and adjacent areas, alongside leaders of small and medium-sized enterprises.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the company leaders expressed a keen interest in understanding the economic landscape of Azerbaijan, seeking insights into the investment climate and collaboration prospects. The primary focus of the discussions was on enhancing economic ties between France and Azerbaijan, while acquainting participants with the Azerbaijani business milieu. French entrepreneurs eager to explore export trade opportunities received an overview of Azerbaijan's economic and investment landscape.

Representatives from various sectors engaged in dialogues on potential partnerships in fields such as communications, higher education, industry, engineering, real estate, medicine, and information technologies. Ambassador Leyla Abdullayeva elaborated on Azerbaijan's regional influence and economic progress, underscoring the growth of bilateral relations with France and the presence of French enterprises in Azerbaijan. She affirmed Azerbaijan's openness to foreign investment and noted the numerous significant projects underway, particularly in transport, energy, and infrastructure development.
