Azerbaijan and Georgia Discuss Efficient Operation of International Corridors

Tbilisi: Rovhsan Rustamov, Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY), who is currently visiting Georgia, engaged in discussions with Lasha Abashidze, the newly appointed General Director of Georgian Railways JSC. The focus of their meeting was on enhancing cooperation in transportation and logistics, as reported by ADY to APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussions included exchanging views on the efficient operation of international corridors that traverse the territories of Azerbaijan and Georgia. There was an emphasis on improving East-West-East transportation routes.

The meeting highlighted efforts to boost cargo transportation via the Middle Corridor and underscored the significance of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line in achieving these goals.
