Baku: Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia, Faig Guliyev, recently held a meeting with Georgia's Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister, Irakli Chikovani. The discussion centered around enhancing defense cooperation between the two nations, emphasizing their strategic partnership for regional security.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting included the introduction of Colonel Arzu Hasanov, the newly appointed Defense Attach©, to Georgia's Defense Minister. This introduction signifies a step forward in strengthening defense ties between Azerbaijan and Georgia.

Irakli Chikovani underscored the significance of the partnership, noting Georgia's pivotal role in fostering peace, stability, and development in the South Caucasus.
