Baku: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, held a meeting with Hao Zhichen, President of Huawei Enterprise Business Group for the Middle East and Central Asia, to discuss potential cooperation in artificial intelligence and Smart City initiatives. The Ministry conveyed this information to APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussions centered on Azerbaijan’s artificial intelligence strategy and the development of necessary infrastructure for implementing AI solutions. Huawei presented its solutions in this area, drawing from international experience.

The meeting also explored the application of artificial intelligence technologies in e-government platforms and the implementation of the “Smart City” concept, leveraging Huawei’s expertise. Both parties shared views on developing joint initiatives to enhance human capital.
