Baku: Azerbaijan and Hungary have initiated discussions to enhance cooperation in military medicine as part of their bilateral military cooperation plan for 2025. This meeting was held in Baku, involving specialists from both countries, focusing on the field of military medicine, as reported by the Ministry of Defense to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting took place at the Medical Department of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense. The Hungarian delegation received a detailed briefing regarding the organization of medical services within the Azerbaijan Army. The discussion included insights into the reforms implemented in military medicine, innovative treatment methods, and the medical services available to both active-duty and reserve servicemen and their families. It was highlighted that the Main Clinical Hospital is fully equipped to provide examination and treatment services, with its medical staff demonstrating strong dedication to their roles.

The meeting also involved an exchange of views on the future of cooperation in military medicine between the two nations. The discussions covered the potential for expanding collaboration, sharing expertise, and enhancing professional training. Both sides agreed to continue organizing working meetings to further these goals.

In addition to the meeting, the Hungarian delegation toured the Main Clinical Hospital and other military medical institutions to observe the facilities and conditions. The engagement concluded with an exchange of gifts and a group photograph to commemorate the occasion.
