Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Agriculture, Majnun Mammadov, recently met with Indonesia's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Berlian Helmy, to discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting highlighted Azerbaijan's commitment to supporting its agricultural sector through ongoing reforms and various government measures aimed at advancing the industry.
Discussions during the meeting centered around several key initiatives, including the establishment of a Working Group to foster agricultural cooperation between the two countries. Both parties emphasized the importance of boosting trade in products with high export potential, strengthening business connections, and encouraging Indonesian entrepreneurs to participate in Azerbaijan's Agriculture Exhibition. Additionally, the meeting explored opportunities for transferring modern technologies and implementing joint research and education programs.
Ambassador Helmy expressed Indonesia's commitment to developing partnerships with Azerbaijan, noting the significant potential for expanding cooperation in agriculture.
