Azerbaijan and Iran Presidents Discuss Bilateral Relations Over Phone

Baku: On May 26, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a telephone conversation with President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian. The exchange took place on the occasion of the holy holiday of Eid al-Adha, with both leaders extending wishes of prosperity and abundance to the peoples of Azerbaijan and Iran.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Pezeshkian expressed gratitude for the humanitarian aid provided by Azerbaijan during challenging times in Iran. President Aliyev acknowledged the strong bond between the two nations, emphasizing their mutual support in both good and difficult times.

During the conversation, the Presidents discussed future prospects for bilateral relations, indicating a continued commitment to cooperation and partnership between Azerbaijan and Iran.
