Baku: An Iranian delegation led by Minister of Sports and Youth Ahmad Dunyamaly is visiting Azerbaijan. The delegation first visited the Alley of Honors to pay tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and then proceeded to the Alley of Martyrs and the Victory Monument.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, a significant bilateral meeting was subsequently held between Farid Gayibov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Youth and Sports, and the Iranian delegation. During this meeting, both sides explored cooperation opportunities in the fields of youth and sports, focusing on the exchange of experience and the organization of mutual visits.

The meeting culminated in the signing of the "Action Plan for 2026-2028 on the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the fields of youth and sports between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Sports and Youth of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
