BAKU: Azerbaijan and Italy are exploring avenues to enhance military cooperation, as confirmed by the recent staff talks held in Baku under the bilateral cooperation plan for 2024, signed between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the General Staff of the Italian Republic. The Ministry of Defense conveyed this information to AZERTAC.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting took place at the International Military Cooperation Department of the Azerbaijan Defense Ministry, where officials underscored the positive impact of strengthening military relations between the two nations. In light of the current global security challenges, both parties emphasized the importance of joint efforts to ensure peace and stability at regional and international levels.
