Baku: Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Ayman Al Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, have formalized two significant agreements aimed at bolstering bilateral relations between the two nations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the first of these agreements is centered around facilitating travel between the countries, titled the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the Mutual Abolition of Visa Requirements for Holders of Ordinary Passports." This agreement is expected to enhance mobility and promote closer ties by allowing citizens of both countries to travel without the need for a visa.

In addition to the visa agreement, the two nations have also solidified a "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Energy between the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan." This memorandum outlines a framework for collaboration in the energy sector, which could lead to joint projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and exploring new energy resources.
