The incident involved a Baku-Grozny flight and has been remembered solemnly by both nations.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during a telephone conversation, Prime Minister Asadov expressed his gratitude to the government and people of Kazakhstan for their support during the tragic period following the crash. The conversation highlighted the close ties between the two countries in times of adversity.
Both Prime Ministers conveyed their condolences to each other, as well as to the families and relatives of the deceased. The exchange underscored the shared grief and solidarity between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
