Baku: The 21st meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Baku, as reported by APA-Economics. The meeting witnessed the signing of a protocol that outlines the outcomes and future directions for cooperation between the two nations.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the protocol was signed by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and Kazakhstan’s Minister of Transport Nurlan Sauranbayev. The bilateral meeting between the co-chairs of the Commission highlighted the development of strategic partnership relations and the implementation of the Comprehensive Program for cooperation between the two countries from 2022 to 2026.

Discussions also focused on measures already carried out and those planned to strengthen mutual cooperation in sectors such as energy and transport. It was agreed that the 22nd meeting of the Commission will take place next year in Kazakhstan, further solidifying the commitment to ongoing collaboration and development between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
