Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan Strengthen Ties in AI and Cybersecurity

Astana: Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are set to enhance their collaboration in the fields of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. This development was discussed during a meeting between Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, and Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Development and Artificial Intelligence, Jaslan Madiyev. The talks, which also covered digital government solutions and space technologies, were reported by APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Rashad Nabiyev noted the discussions he held in Astana with Kazakhstan’s Minister of Transport, Nurkan Sauranbayev, and Presidential Advisor, Asel Janasova. These discussions focused on future cooperation possibilities in innovation, digitalization, and information and communication technologies (ICT). Nabiyev shared insights from these meetings on his X account.

During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation explored the ‘Astana Hub’ innovation center, gaining insights in
to projects aimed at training professionals in ICT, fostering startups, and strengthening the digital ecosystem. The visit provided an opportunity for both nations to exchange ideas on sharing experiences in digital development.
