Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan Strengthen Ties in Information Security Cooperation

Baku: A meeting with a delegation led by Rustam Ali, Vice Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held in the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MEDIA). During the meeting, Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, emphasized the successful development of friendly and cooperative relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. He highlighted the importance of expanding partnership relations in the media sector.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Ismayilov underscored the significance of applying best practices and strengthening joint efforts in media literacy and combating disinformation. He also stressed the importance of maintaining the quality and reliability of the information environment, as well as shaping flexible and effective mechanisms that meet contemporary challenges.

Rustam Ali, Vice Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, discussed the importance of organizing the exchange of experience between responsible structures and media organizations. He advocated for implementing joint projects and combating fake and unreliable news.

The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation, fostering information security, and ensuring sustainable development in the media environment. Alisher Suleymenov, the Advisor to the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, noted that coordinated efforts and joint initiatives in the media field contribute to forming a more sustainable and secure information environment. He also emphasized the importance of shaping mutual trust and common communication platforms.
