Baku: First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, received a delegation led by the Director of the Foreign Intelligence Department of the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Korea, Major General Choi Chun-song, during the latter’s visit to Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting followed the delegation’s visit to the Alley of Martyrs, where they paid their respects by arranging flowers at the graves of Martyrs and at the Eternal Flame monument.

The General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army hosted the meeting, where Colonel General Karim Valiyev welcomed the Korean delegation and expressed satisfaction with their visit. He highlighted the achievements made within the framework of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Korea.

Major General Choi Chun-song expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality. He stressed the importance of mutual visits in enhancing the bilateral relations between the two countries. The meeting included a wide exchange of views on various issues of interest.
