Baku: Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov engaged in a phone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, to address the escalating military clashes in the region.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that the ministers expressed their serious concern regarding the ongoing military conflicts. They highlighted the potential risks these clashes pose to regional security and stability.

The discussion emphasized the importance of reducing tensions and the necessity of strengthening diplomatic initiatives to facilitate a return to negotiations. They also underlined the need for adherence to international humanitarian law and the protection of civilians and infrastructure.

The conversation also included an exchange of views on other mutual interests between the two nations.
