Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan Explore Urban Planning Collaboration

Baku: Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, met with Maksat Mamytkanov, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan, to discuss expanding cooperation in urban planning and architecture. The discussions centered on strategic partnerships between the two countries and the potential for increased collaboration in these fields.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Anar Guliyev emphasized the supportive role Kyrgyzstan has played in Azerbaijan's restoration and reconstruction efforts in Garabagh and East Zangezur. He noted the opening of a school building in Khidirli village, Aghdam district, as a significant example of this support.

Guliyev expressed optimism about the future success of joint projects with Kyrgyzstan. He also invited the Kyrgyz delegation to participate in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), scheduled to be held in Baku in 2026.
