BAKU — In a significant move during the conference titled “The Illegal Occupation of Mayotte Island by France in the Union of Comoros,” the Baku Initiative Group (BIG) and the Maore Committee have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU).

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the MoU outlines mutual commitments to assist the region in addressing various social issues as part of efforts to resolve the ongoing territorial dispute. The agreement was signed amid discussions on strategies to support the Union of Comoros, with emphasis on the history of French colonial influence in the area.
