KALBAJAR — A media tour recently showcased the advancements in the Toganaly-Kalbajar-Istisu highway project, including the construction progress of the 4th tunnel along this strategic route.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during the media tour, officials noted that 67.5 percent of the highway construction has been completed. The project is part of a broader initiative for the reconstruction and restoration of territories recently liberated from occupation. The tour included a visit to the 15.2-kilometer section of the highway, where significant construction milestones have been achieved.

This project has also seen personal attention from national leaders, with President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva reviewing the ongoing work on September 2. Their visit underscored the importance of the highway in improving connectivity and fostering economic development in the region.
