Azerbaijan and Morocco Forge Agreement in Science and Higher Education Cooperation

Rabat: Azerbaijan and Morocco have taken a significant step in strengthening their bilateral relations by signing an agreement focused on science and higher education. Emin Amrullayev, the Azerbaijani Minister of Science and Education, met with Azzedine El Midaoui, Morocco's Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation, during Amrullayev's visit to the Kingdom of Morocco to finalize the agreement.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting between the two ministers centered around discussing various initiatives aimed at enhancing cooperation in science and higher education. The discussions culminated in the signing of the 'Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Science and Higher Education between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation of the Kingdom of Morocco.'

The newly signed agreement outlines several collaborative activities. These include the exchange of students across bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, fostering direct partnerships between scientific and higher education institutions in both countries, and launching joint projects that leverage the strengths of each nation's educational and scientific communities.
