New Edition of IRS-Heritage Magazine Highlights Azerbaijani Culture and Strategic Importance

Baku: A new edition of the English-language IRS-Heritage magazine, a significant platform for promoting Azerbaijani realities and the country's rich culture and art abroad, has been published. The latest edition opens with a foreword by Editor-in-Chief Musa Marjanli, marking the fifth anniversary of the Victory of the Azerbaijani people in the Patriotic War and highlighting the ongoing large-scale restoration and reconstruction efforts in Garabagh and East Zangezur in the post-war period.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the magazine features an article by Professor Carlos Aquino Rodriguez from San Marcos National University, focusing on the growing role of the Middle Corridor - Trans-Caspian International Transport Route in global trade. The article emphasizes Azerbaijan's critical position as a strategic transport and logistics hub connecting East and West.

The issue also includes an article by Aysel Salamova titled 'Mirza Gadim Iravani and his creative legacy,' which delves into the works of Mirza Gadim Iravani, a pioneer of 19th-century Azerbaijani fine arts. Salamova examines his contributions to the portrait genre and the shift to a realistic style, evaluating his artistic heritage from a scholarly perspective.

Another featured piece by Malaika Huseyn highlights Mammad Agha Shahtakhtli's legacy and his influence on the development of Azerbaijani journalism.
