Baku:A delegation led by North Macedonia's Minister of Sport, Borko Ristovski, is currently visiting Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during their visit, the delegation paid respects at the Alley of Honors to Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader and founder of independent Azerbaijan.

The delegation also met with Azerbaijan's Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov. Before this meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of North Macedonia to promote cooperation in sports.

Discussions during the meeting focused on the future of sports collaboration between the two nations. Both parties also shared ideas on enhancing the exchange of experience and exploring opportunities for implementing joint initiatives.
