New York:Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, during the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions focused on the state and future of bilateral relations, highlighting the need to intensify political dialogue, increase mutual contacts and visits, and enhance the institutional foundations of their bilateral ties.

The ministers also emphasized the significance of strengthening multilateral cooperation and mutual support within the frameworks of the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement.

As a result of the discussions, both sides signed the 'Protocol on political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.' This protocol aims to fortify institutional ties, promote regular diplomatic interactions, and advance cooperation in areas of shared interest.
