Azerbaijan and Pakistan Plan Collaborative Efforts in Vocational Training

Baku: Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan Hidayat Abdullayev met with visiting Pakistani Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training Wajiha Qamar to discuss expanding cooperation in vocational training. The meeting emphasized the friendly and fraternal relations between the two nations, which serve as a foundation for strengthening ties in the social sphere.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions between Abdullayev and Qamar also addressed potential collaborations in labor migration, employment, vocational training, and human capital development. Both sides explored the preparation of a memorandum of understanding to formalize cooperation in vocational training.

Qamar emphasized the significant potential for expanding cooperation and exchanging expertise in vocational training. She reiterated Pakistan's interest in enhancing relations with Azerbaijan in this sector. The meeting concluded with both parties expressing a commitment to future cooperation and collaboration in these areas.
