Baku: A Pakistani delegation led by Barrister Aqeel Malik, Minister of State for Law and Justice, visited Azerbaijan's Supreme Court. Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan Chingiz Asgarov welcomed the delegation and emphasized that the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Pakistan is developing successfully in various areas, including the judicial and legal fields. He noted that relations based on mutual trust and friendship pave the way for expanding cooperation in the field of law.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during the meeting, the delegation was briefed on Azerbaijan's judicial and legal reforms, modern innovations, and the selection, appointment, and performance evaluation mechanisms for judges. Pakistani Minister Aqeel Malik expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and noted that strengthening legal cooperation would significantly contribute to the development of the judicial systems of both countries and the exchange of experience.

The meeting included an exchange of views on matters of mutual interest.
