Uzbek Prosecutor General Concludes Azerbaijan Visit with Focus on Restoration and Heritage

Baku: A delegation of Uzbekistan, led by Prosecutor General Nigmatilla Yuldashev, has concluded its working visit to Azerbaijan, held at the invitation of Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev. The visit included a meeting with Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Uzbek delegation also visited Azerbaijan's liberated Kalbajar district, where they familiarized themselves with the district's landmarks and the ongoing large-scale restoration efforts. Bashir Hajiyev, Special Representative of the Azerbaijani President in Kalbajar district, provided a briefing to the Uzbek delegation on the restoration projects being carried out in the area.

The delegation's itinerary also included a visit to the city of Ganja. While in Ganja, they viewed the Ganja Memorial Complex, which serves as a dedication to the innocent victims of Armenia's rocket attacks during the Second Garabagh War. The Uzbek delegates explored various landmarks, including the Shah Abbas Mosque, the Imamzade religious complex, and the Nizami Ganjavi Mausoleum, highlighting the city's historical, architectural, and religious significance.
