Gdansk: Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in a meeting with Radoslaw Sikorski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland, on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdansk. The discussion centered on the dynamic development of relations between Azerbaijan and Poland, highlighting the significant contributions of the ongoing intensive political dialogue to the expansion of bilateral cooperation.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the ministers emphasized the importance of high-level reciprocal visits and political consultations in strengthening relations based on mutual trust between the two nations. The meeting also reviewed the progress on several agreements currently being prepared, which are expected to further solidify the ties between Azerbaijan and Poland.
The dialogue extended to prospects for enhancing economic cooperation between the countries. The ministers discussed the significance of increasing trade turnover and promoting investment opportunities, which are viewed as essential components of their bilateral relationship.
Additionally, the conversation included an exchange of views on the post-conflict situation in the region and ongoing peacebuilding efforts. The ministers also focused on European security, energy sustainability, regional connectivity, and other regional and international issues that are of mutual concern.
