Bucharest: The Digital Innovation Summit Bucharest 2026, which focused on digital technologies, AI, cybersecurity, and cyber diplomacy, recently concluded in Bucharest, Romania. The three-day event took place within the Romanian Parliament and was organized by the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics - "ICI Bucharest," with backing from the Romanian Chamber of Deputies and the Romanian Government.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the summit drew an array of participants, including heads of state agencies, ministers, ambassadors, representatives from international organizations, and private sector experts. The gathering provided a platform for sharing insights and strategies on digital transformation and cybersecurity.
During the event, Tural Mammadov, Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Special Communications and Information Security State Service, addressed the participants. He emphasized the strategic importance of cyberspace in today's security landscape, the role of cyber diplomacy in addressing digital environment challenges, and the necessity for interstate cooperation.
