Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Ties in Education Sector

Riyadh: An Azerbaijani delegation, led by Minister of Science and Education Emin Amrullayev, visited Saudi Arabia following an invitation from the Saudi Minister of Education, Yousef al-Benyan. The visit aimed to discuss and enhance cooperation in higher education and vocational training between the two nations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the delegation's itinerary included a visit to King Saud University, where they met with Rector Ali Masmali. Discussions centered on potential collaborations with Azerbaijani higher education institutions. The visit highlighted the mutual interest in strengthening academic ties and exploring joint initiatives.

The Azerbaijani delegation also toured the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. They explored the facility's modern laboratories, incubation center, and innovation ecosystem. During a meeting with Munir Eldesouki, President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, further opportunities for joint cooperation were explored, paving the way for future educational and technological partnerships.
