Baku: Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced plans to launch a youth exchange program with Saudi Arabia next year, as revealed by Ulviyya Akhundova, Deputy Head of the Youth Affairs Department at the Ministry, to AZERTAC.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, a delegation from Saudi Arabia’s youth and volunteer organizations is expected to visit Azerbaijan in 2026. The visit aims to provide insights into Azerbaijan’s youth policy while giving the delegation an opportunity to explore the country’s cultural and historical sites. In return, Azerbaijani youth will travel to Saudi Arabia to learn about its youth initiatives and participate in discussions with their Saudi counterparts.
Ulviyya Akhundova stated that the ministry will continue its existing exchange programs with Uzbekistan and Trkiye, maintaining the same structure and format as in previous years.
