Shusha: A very strong partnership has been established between Azerbaijan and Slovakia in recent years, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev declared during a joint press statement with President of the Slovak Republic Peter Pellegrini in Shusha. This announcement underscores the growing cooperation between the two nations, focusing on traditional areas of collaboration.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the discussions primarily revolved around trade and economic relations, as well as cooperation in the energy and military-technical fields. President Aliyev highlighted that these areas remain priorities for both countries. The discussions were described as sincere and open, with delegation members maintaining close contact and planning to continue their discussions.
President Aliyev also emphasized the mutual commitment to concrete actions, reflecting the importance both sides place on their bilateral relations. He noted the strength of the partnership developed in recent years, highlighting President Pellegrini's previous visits to Azerbaijan in various capacities, including as Speaker of Parliament and Prime Minister. Pellegrini's participation in an international climate conference and his current official visit further signify the ongoing collaboration between Azerbaijan and Slovakia.
