Baku: "It is precisely on platforms such as the Shusha Global Media Forum that we must strengthen cooperation against disinformation and find joint solutions. It is impossible to combat disinformation alone," Kanat Iskakov, First Vice Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, said at the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, APA's correspondent dispatched to Shusha reports. Iskakov emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in combating the rapid spread of disinformation enabled by modern technologies.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Iskakov highlighted the significant role digital platforms play in the distribution of content. He asserted that these platforms should be accountable for the content they disseminate and must take active measures to prevent the spread of disinformation and manipulative information. He further stressed the necessity for users to have access to reliable and verified information.
